ABOUT Srijan Foundation
Srijan Foundation is an autonomous non-profit, non-religious registered voluntary organization working for the over all empowerment of the weaker section of the society. This includes
women, children, youths, old age and retarded people, unprivileged social groups in J.J. Clusters, resettlement colonies as well as Rural & Urban areas in North &North West Delhi for their health, education and training for income generating activities and to implement the
comprehensive and integrated development. A dedicated team of Social Workers, Scholars, Artists, Lawyers, Business Persons, Academicians, and Technical Persons are involve in President its activities.
India is a developing country and is prevailing numerous challenges. Population Growth
,Poor Health Facilities, Illiteracy ,Unemployment, are the main obstacles for development.
Government has been taking lots of initiatives for the betterment of its over thousand million
citizens, but those are inadequate. There are a number of NGO’s working in Delhi for the
development of the unprivileged social groups & weaker section of the society.
I am glad to introduce Srijan Foundation, as you will read in subsequent pages. We are
working for above mentioned target group with the help of community contribution &
donations.
The vision of the society is to become a NGO of repute in the field of overall social
development in Delhi State by developing linkages and partnership with National &
International agencies, and making its programmes & activities as per the needs of its target
population.
